Behold Publications, LLC is a family owned and operated business specializing in high-quality materials for Catholic boys and girls. Our specialties include Catholic Club programs such as the Little Flowers Girls' Club and Blue Knights Boys' Club. Featured products also include the Glory of America! and Saints in Progress series of American Catholic History.
Joan Stromberg, founded Ecce Homo Press, now an imprint of Behold Publications, LLC in 1999. Homeschool mom of 10 children, Joan found an abundance of Protestant and secular material to use in her homeschooling, but a lack of good Catholic books. She began by writing the Glory of America series for her own children and others who sought great Catholic materials for their own homeschools. Joan homeschools her children through high school and her oldest, Joe, a 2008 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in English, works for the company full time. Joan also has a daughter who is a consecrated Catholic missionary, another grown son studying engineering at University of Lousiville, where the family lives, and a daughter studying film at John Paul the Great Catholic University in San Diego. The remaining six children, ages 2 to 16, are still at home.
Rachel Watkins, the creative mom behind not only Princesses You Can Believe In, but also the popular Little Flowers Girls' Club program, is also the mom of 11 children. Rachel also homeschools her children and is the mom of two consecrated Catholic missionaries. In 1995 several moms voiced a desire to form a girls' club where traditional Catholic values were passed on to their daughters. Basing this program on the 1906 Fr. Lasance Catholic Girls' Guide and updated it to appeal to today's young girls, Rachel linked the Maiden's Wreath with St. Theresa's love of roses and the Little Flowers Girls' Club was born. Now boasting over 5000 participants worldwide, LFGC has been a blessing for many Catholic families.
